Objects + Methods is a platform for sharing ideas, work and aspirations within our community at VCUarts Department of Graphic Design and beyond. As a department we are committed to working together in ways that are generous and edifying. This collaboration is an example of the department impelling these values. We are honoured to present ongoing conversations with artists and designers who hold up the values we share as a department. This platform is not a substitute for our lecture series, but works to serve as a space to experience aspects of the work and interactions we have with our creative community on and off campus.
Thank you to Saki Mafundikwa and Laurel Schwulst for your willingness to participate in Dialoguing at a Distance and The Life and Death of an Internet Onion a program that allows us to kickstart this extension of Objects and Methods as a platform with a lecture series and other initiatives. We look forward to hosting both artists on campus in the near future.
